	Keep Your Greek: Strategies for Busy People Campbell, Constantine R. Campbell's short guide to keeping your Greek is full of practical suggestions for those who are finishing their Greek studies.
	Exegetical Fallacies Carson, D. A. Greek students will benefit from Carson's treatment of a number of exegetical fallacies, a number of which involve Greek.
	1 Peter: A Handbook on the Greek Text (Baylor Handbook of the Greek New Testament) Dubis, Mark For those who want to study 1 Peter in Greek, this is a resource that you would not want to be without. Check out the other books in this series as well.
	Devotions on the Greek New Testament: 52 Reflections to Inspire and Instruct Duvall, J. Scott The purpose of this book is to show the helpfulness of Greek knowledge through 52 devotions on different passages.
	Devotions on the Hebrew Bible: 54 Reflections to Inspire and Instruct Eng, Milton Every Greek student should also be an aspiring Hebrew student. This book provides encouragement to learn Hebrew and use it.
	New Testament Exegesis Fee, Gordon D. Fee provides a helpful introduction to various aspects of NT exegesis.
	1 Peter (Exegetical Guide to the Greek New Testament) Forbes, Greg For those who want to study 1 Peter in Greek, this resource is helpful. Compare what you find in this book to what you find in the similar work by Dubis.
	A Reader's Greek New Testament: Third Edition Goodrich, Richard J. This new edition of Zondervan's Reader's Greek New Testament has a helpful and readable layout. Greek students at any level will benefit from having one or more copies of this work, or of a similar reader's Greek NT. It helps readers to make their way through verses with unfamiliar vocabulary.
	John (Exegetical Guide to the Greek New Testament) Harris, Murray J. Murray Harris wrote the first book in this series on Colossians and it has been helpful to many Greek students. His new volume on John looks to be very helpful as well. Check out the other books in this series as well.
	Revelation: A Handbook on the Greek Text Mathewson, David L. For anyone who wants help with the Greek language and syntax of Revelation, Mathewson is probably the best place to start.
	Fundamentals of New Testament Greek Porter, Stanley E. This is a first year Greek textbook that does a better job of explaining verbal aspect than Mounce does. It also emphasizes the importance of parsing.
	Fundamentals of New Testament Textual Criticism Porter, Stanley E. This new introduction to NT textual criticism provides the type of information that Greek students need, but which is hard to cover adequately in the first semesters of Greek instruction.
	A Grammar of the Greek New Testament in the Light of Historical Research Robertson, A. T. Robertson is probably the most accessible advanced Greek grammar.
	Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics Wallace, Daniel B. Wallace's Greek grammar is a popular and useful intermediate Greek grammar.
	Using and Enjoying Biblical Greek: Reading the New Testament with Fluency and Devotion Whitacre, Rodney A. Whitacre provides a host of suggestions about how to keep on using Greek after your Greek classes are over.

Biblical Theology

	Gospel of Glory: Major Themes in Johannine Theology Bauckham, Richard Bauckham's book on the theology of John is a helpful complement to his former work on the theology of Revelation.
	Handbook on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament: Exegesis and Interpretation Beale, G. K. Beale's handbook gives direction to the student who is trying to study a particular use of the OT in the NT.
	The Right Doctrine from the Wrong Texts?: Essays on the Use of the Old Testament in the New Beale, G. K. The essays in this book cover a variety of important topics related to the use of the OT in the NT.
	Commentary on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament Carson, D. A. This is a recommended reference work related to the use of the OT in the NT.
	Dominion and Dynasty: A Biblical Theology of the Hebrew Bible Dempster, Stephen G. It would be difficult to find a more accessible and readable way into understanding the theological emphases of the books of the OT. Every Christian who wants to understand the Bible better should read this book more than once.
	Christology in the Synoptic Gospels: God or God's Servant Grindheim, Sigurd Grindheim's book provides an insightful introduction to central emphases of the Synoptic Gospels.
	That Scripture Might Be Fulfilled: Typology and the Death of Christ Hoskins, Paul M. This book was written to help Christians to understand typology and to aid in teaching about the cross and the Lord's Supper.
	A Theology of the New Testament Ladd, George Eldon Among NT theologies, I have found a lot to like in this work by George Ladd.
	The Old Testament in the Gospel Passion Narratives Moo, Douglas J. This is Moo's dissertation. It contains many helpful observations related to the use of the OT in the NT.
	New Testament Theology Morris, Leon Among NT theologies, this work by Morris is among the most concise and readable. It will help many Christians, including laypeople, to gain a better grasp of major themes of the NT.

New Testament Commentaries

	The Gospel according to John Carson, D. A. This commentary has helped many believers at various levels of maturity to discover something of the richness of John's Gospel.
	Revelation: A New Translation with Introduction and Commentary Koester, Craig I have found Koester’s commentary to be helpful and readable. His comments are generally well-organized and his train of thought is easy to follow. I have found him to be more readable than other commentaries of similar length.
	John Köstenberger, Andreas J. Köstenberger's commentary does a good job of interacting with scholarship on John and defending the historicity of various aspects of John's Gospel.
	1 Peter, Word Biblical Commentary Michaels, J. Ramsey (Author), David Allen Hubbard (Editor), Glenn W. Barker (Editor), John D. W. Watts (Series Editor), Ralph P. Martin (Series Editor) Michaels provides detailed comments on each verse and relates 1 Peter to biblical theology.
	The Epistle to the Romans Moo, Douglas J. Moo's commentary has become a favorite and trustworthy source on Romans. It is thorough and consistently insightful.
	Revelation Osborne, Grant R. Osborne's commentary provides a multitude of insights into the book of Revelation. The careful reader will also learn some important lessons about how to study and teach on Revelation.
	Commentary on the Apocalypse of St. John Prigent, Pierre Prigent has written a lot about the book of Revelation, but his works are generally in French. This volume provides access to Prigent's many helpful insights. Unfortunately, the book is quite expensive and can be hard to find.
	1, 2, and 3 John Yarbrough, Robert W. (Author), Robert Yarbrough (Series Editor), Robert Stein (Series Editor) Yarbrough's commentary on John's epistles is a source that I often turn to when I am puzzling over one of the difficult verses in 1 John.

Old Testament Commentaries

Keil and Delitzsch Commentary on the Old Testament Keil, C. F. (Author), F. Delitzsch (Author)

This is a good place to start building your OT commentary library. Keil and Delitzsch relate each OT book to the rest of the canon.

	NASB Zondervan Study Bible Barker, Kenneth L. (Editor) et al. I have recommended this study Bible to a number of friends and have bought more than one for myself.
	For the Love of God Carson, D. A. A devotional guide that gives dependable insights into biblical passages and makes daily Bible reading more profitable.

Other

	Jesus and the Gospels Blomberg, Craig L. Blomberg introduces the reader to NT backgrounds, to each Gospel, and to the life of Jesus according to the Gospels.
	The New Testament Documents: Are They Reliable? Bruce, F.F. The New Testament Documents went through six editions since it first appeared in 1943. It is a worthy example of a well-reasoned treatment of various topics related to the historical reliability of the New Testament.
	Introduction to the New Testament Carson, D. A. (Author), Douglas J. Moo (Author) Carson and Moo provide an Evangelical approach to standard aspects of NT introduction.
	The Christians as the Romans Saw Them Wilken, Robert L. Wilken's work helps us to understand how Romans viewed the early Christians and their churches. His first chapter is about Pliny's famous letter to Emperor Trajan in A.D. 112. Pliny was governor of a province in Asia Minor (the setting for much of the New Testament, including Revelation).
